Warehouse Worker

Position summary
This role supports shipping, receiving, and production weighing/packaging work. You will load and unload trucks, label and stage materials, process freight paperwork, and help keep production supplied with the correct ingredients and materials.
What you’ll do
- Document and record incoming raw material information.
- Load, unload, and pick materials as needed.
- Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment.
- Move materials and merchandise to and from storage areas.
- Inspect materials for damage.
- Store and stack items according to established storage rules and methods.
- Count and organize inventory as needed.
- Assemble, prepare, and verify merchandise for truck loading.
- Make sure shipments are labeled and packed correctly.
- Obtain required documentation for each order.
- Deliver the correct ingredients to the work area.
- Mix and weigh ingredients to customer orders and specifications.
- Set up and start weighing and packaging equipment while following operating and safety procedures.
- Monitor machinery and processes and report issues or concerns.
- Supply production staff with materials and help keep equipment operational.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need

- Ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attendance.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including up to every other weekend.
- Ability to pass a forklift test.
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical requirements
- Regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Regular use of hands for handling tools, controls, and materials.
- Regular use of required safety equipment.
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 60 lbs.
- Occasional handling of up to 250 lbs with mechanical equipment.
- Work in temperature extremes, humidity, dust, fumes, and airborne particles.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and higher noise levels requiring hearing protection.
