Warehouse Staff

Status: Full-time.

Pay: $20.75 to $21.25 per hour.

Role summary

Support warehouse distribution and logistics by receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products. This role contributes to accurate inventory handling, orderly storage, and compliance with safety and facility standards in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and put away inbound freight according to standard procedures.
• Pick and ship customer and third-party logistics (3PL) orders accurately.
• Distribute products within the warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Rotate stock using FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse stocking areas.
• Tag and label items with barcode labels, pallet tags, or allergen stickers.
• Inspect inventory for defects or damage and report findings to inventory control.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet warehouse goals.

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of RF scanning systems and ability to use handheld scanners.
• Experience operating reach and hi-low equipment.
• Understanding of FIFO inventory system.
• Ability to work from pick lists and system-generated reports.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
• Comfort working near moving machinery, elevated platforms, and varied temperature conditions.

Work environment

Work takes place in dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas with moderate to high noise levels. Team members may be exposed to temperature extremes, ambient air, airborne particles, and mechanical vibration.

Physical requirements

• Stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
• Climb, balance, stoop, and kneel as needed.
• Lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision required.
