Overview
This role blends hands-on quality assurance work with structured QA coordination responsibilities across internal teams and external partners. The position serves as a bridge between development and testing by coordinating third-party QA vendors, overseeing build deployment workflows, maintaining Jira database integrity, and conducting detailed technical investigations to ensure release readiness and quality standards are consistently met.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate third-party QA vendors and external testing partners by setting priorities, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring consistent, high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and maintain structured test plans and documentation to track issues from initial discovery through final resolution.
- Oversee Jira database health by performing ongoing cleanup, enforcing documentation standards, and maintaining accurate, actionable bug tracking data.
- Direct and monitor daily build deployment processes to ensure successful distribution to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Perform hands-on testing for high-priority titles, including deep-dive investigations into complex, community-reported, or difficult-to-reproduce issues.
- Act as a central point of contact for QA-related communication across cross-functional teams.
- Support senior QA coordination efforts by managing meeting agendas, tracking action items, and reviewing automated test results.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to resolve cross-disciplinary blockers efficiently.
- Experience using project management and bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at varying stages of development.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Experience
- Interest in asymmetrical multiplayer games and active engagement in analyzing gameplay systems.
- Experience working with live-service game models and post-launch content pipelines.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects in remote or hybrid work environments.
