About the Role
This opportunity is for a Director of Product Management responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of core platform capabilities. The role ensures that foundational product systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with both business objectives and customer needs.
This position leads the Product Management team, owns platform roadmap priorities, and partners closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, research, and leadership to deliver platform capabilities that support current operations and long-term growth.
In addition to product leadership, this role serves as the product program lead for the core platform, driving cross-functional planning, delivery coordination, prioritization, and execution discipline.

Compensation
Base Salary: $210,000 – $240,000 per year
Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
What You’ll Do
- Lead product strategy and execution for the core platform, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer needs, and long-term product growth.
- Define and maintain the core platform roadmap, balancing customer value, technical priorities, scalability, reliability, and business impact.
- Ensure the platform is robust, scalable, and capable of supporting both current product requirements and future innovation.
- Act as the product program lead, coordinating cross-functional dependencies, delivery planning, execution timelines, and team alignment.
- Drive cross-functional decision-making to prioritize platform enhancements, improve execution, and elevate product quality.
- Establish repeatable processes for roadmap planning, product delivery, and continuous platform evolution.
- Manage and develop the Product Management team, setting priorities, operating rhythms, and accountability standards.
- Coach product managers on roadmap ownership, customer discovery, requirements definition, stakeholder alignment, and delivery execution.
- Create clear systems for prioritization, product reviews, roadmap communication, and performance tracking.
- Partner with research, product strategy, engineering, design, and leadership teams to align platform investments with broader product strategy.
- Translate technical tradeoffs and platform investments into clear business, customer, and operational outcomes.
- Provide regular reporting on platform performance, delivery progress, roadmap execution, and key risks.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in product management, platform product management, product operations, technical program leadership, or related roles.
- Experience leading product teams and managing product managers within a technical product environment.
- Proven ability to define and deliver platform roadmaps that balance customer value, scalability, reliability, and business priorities.
- Strong execution discipline, including coordinating cross-functional dependencies, development planning, and delivery cycles.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence engineering, design, research, leadership, and customer-facing teams.
- Previous experience in a Senior Manager or Director-level role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with B2B SaaS, data platforms, AI-enabled products, or mission-critical software environments.
- Experience operating in a hybrid product management and program leadership role.
- Familiarity with platform architecture concepts, including APIs, data pipelines, analytics systems, and infrastructure.
- Experience working in regulated environments such as government, defense, intelligence, or aerospace sectors.
