About the Role
This opportunity is for an Enterprise Business Development Representative with experience in B2B cloud-based subscription software. The role focuses on driving new client development with Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries, including energy, healthcare, marketing, and technology.
The position is responsible for building relationships with executives and industry leaders, presenting a software platform clearly and professionally, and helping strengthen brand awareness while supporting sales growth.
As a BDR, this role will help accelerate pipeline in a specialized area of the social listening software market. The work involves thoughtful, insight-led outbound prospecting, real account research, targeted outreach, and using platform-driven insights to earn meetings with enterprise buyers.

Job Type: Full-Time
Base Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
Total Compensation: $120,000 OTE with $55,000 variable compensation, uncapped commission potential, equity, and benefits
What You’ll Do
- Own enterprise prospecting across a defined set of accounts and buyer personas.
- Build targeted outbound outreach based on account context, business triggers, and relevant signals.
- Use platform-driven insights to strengthen messaging, improve relevance, and support outreach quality.
- Run discovery conversations and qualify next steps with precision.
- Develop relationships with executives, industry leaders, and prospective enterprise clients.
- Support new client development with Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries.
- Partner closely with sales leadership and iterate quickly based on what is working.
- Track sales activity, outcomes, and conversion performance.
- Test new outreach approaches and continuously improve messaging, targeting, and conversion.
- Build a strategic and methodical outbound process rather than relying on high-volume outreach.
- Create personalized, signal-based messaging designed to earn responses from enterprise buyers.
- Develop strong enterprise discovery habits and help progress opportunities cleanly.
- Improve meeting quality through stronger targeting, research, and positioning.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a BDR, SDR, or in a similar outbound sales role.
- Experience with B2B cloud-based subscription software.
- Exposure to enterprise prospecting, including targeted account research, personalization, and point-of-view development.
- Comfort building account-specific insights to support outbound outreach.
- Strong discovery mindset with clear communication and strong questioning skills.
- Coachability, discipline, and the ability to take feedback, test new approaches, and improve quickly.
- Experience sourcing deals for multiple Fortune 500 client accounts in a previous role.
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships with executives and prospective clients.
- Ability to work strategically with enterprise accounts and multiple buyer personas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with social listening or adjacent social and media monitoring technology.
- Experience prospecting into enterprise accounts, ideally in or adjacent to software platforms.
- Established relationships with potential Fortune 500 clients.
