Base Salary Range: $255,000 – $298,000 per year

About the Role
This opportunity is for a Staff Data Scientist serving as a senior technical leader within a product-focused organization. The role is responsible for shaping data strategy, defining experimentation standards, and driving high-impact analytics across multiple product areas.
This position combines deep technical expertise with strategic influence, partnering closely with leadership, product managers, and engineering teams to guide major decisions and unlock growth opportunities through data.
What You’ll Do
- Define and lead the experimentation framework across teams, setting standards for design, execution, and evaluation of experiments.
- Drive strategic opportunity sizing by identifying high-impact initiatives and informing product roadmap decisions.
- Own company-wide metrics strategy, ensuring strong data coverage and accurate forecasting for business goals.
- Lead predictive modeling and machine learning initiatives that influence product direction and long-term strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Establish best practices for data infrastructure, logging, and analytical workflows.
- Mentor data scientists and provide technical guidance across the organization.
- Investigate data inconsistencies and ensure high data quality across systems.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data science.
- Strong expertise in SQL and Python for large-scale data analysis and modeling.
- Experience designing and analyzing experiments, including A/B testing frameworks.
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.
- Ability to work across the full data pipeline, including data engineering collaboration and system design.
- Experience influencing engineering decisions and defining data infrastructure standards.
- Strong ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and guiding other data scientists.
- Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
