About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel and help scale the operating rhythm of the Legal function. This is not a calendar-only role. You will act as a true force multiplier by running executive operations, owning key Legal team systems, and leading high-trust initiatives that require precision, discretion, and sound judgment.
While this position partners closely with teams across the business, its primary focus is supporting the Legal organization by creating clarity, maintaining strong systems, and ensuring consistent follow-through on priorities.
Compensation
$81.73 – $91.35 per hour
$170,000 – $190,000 per year
Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Manage complex calendars for the General Counsel, including prioritization, conflict resolution, and proactive time protection.
- Meeting Excellence: Ensure meetings are purposeful and effective with clear agendas, proper attendees, documented decisions, and tracked follow-ups.
- Executive Partnership: Act as an extension of the General Counsel by anticipating needs, identifying risks early, and operating with exceptional accuracy and discretion.
- Legal Team Enablement: Own and maintain the Legal team’s Notion workspace, ensuring documentation, processes, and resources are accurate and easy to access.
- Workflow Optimization: Build and manage checklists, templates, and lightweight operating systems for recurring Legal workflows.
- Litigation & Discovery Support: Coordinate with outside counsel, manage document workflows, track deadlines, and support internal stakeholders during active litigation.
- Board & Governance Support: Assist with board and committee preparation, material distribution, and version control while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization on planning, leadership communications, and special initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience supporting senior executives (VP level or higher) in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong experience with complex calendaring, meeting preparation, and stakeholder coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace and comfort using tools such as Notion, Slack, and project management platforms
Preferred Experience
- Background working with Legal teams, legal operations, or law firms
- Experience supporting board governance processes
- Ability to think systemically and improve operational efficiency
