Overnight Cleaner

Shift: Night shift, including weekends and holidays as needed

Position summary

This role supports commercial kitchen cleaning and compliance work during the night shift. You will clean equipment and surfaces, restock supplies, follow health and safety standards, and help maintain a clean, organized environment.

What you’ll do

• Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces during night shifts.
• Follow health and safety regulations in all cleaning tasks.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues to management.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely.
• Work with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Conduct inspections to confirm cleanliness standards are met.
• Support deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and completed tasks.

What you’ll need

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Background check and references required upon hire.
