Position overview

You’ll help keep common areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and floors clean, safe, and well maintained in a residential community setting.

Daily tasks

• Follow assigned cleaning schedules.
• Mop, sweep, and vacuum common areas.
• Clean and maintain stairwells and hallways.
• Wash common area windows and glass.
• Clean administrative offices.
• Assist with floor maintenance.
• Use cleaning tools, small tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment as needed.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years of experience in a custodial, janitorial, or porter position.
• Ability to stand, push, pull, listen, comprehend instructions, and follow schedules.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning equipment, small tools, and power tools.
