Warehouse Associate

Pay: ~ $19.00 - $24.00/hour

Position snapshot

You’ll support warehouse operations by receiving shipments, preparing customer orders, managing inventory, operating warehouse equipment, assisting pickup customers and drivers, and helping keep the warehouse safe, clean, and organized.

Core responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Pick, pack, palletize, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup.
• Stock inventory and maintain an organized warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet movers.
• Assist customers and drivers at the warehouse pickup counter professionally.
• Process customer and vendor return merchandise authorizations.
• Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Work with warehouse and office personnel to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and a positive team environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• HVAC distribution or construction supply experience highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Forklift certification preferred, or ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused work style.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical requirements

• Ability to safely lift and move boxes averaging 10 to 30 pounds.
• Ability to perform active warehouse work throughout the shift.
• Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and materials.
