Base Salary: $60,000-$62,000 per year.
Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for an annual target bonus equal to 10% of base salary, subject to individual and company performance objectives and the terms of the applicable bonus plan.
About the Role
This remote opportunity is for a hands-on Growth Marketing Specialist responsible for organic search and channel marketing within a demand generation team. The role supports brand awareness and inbound pipeline growth through SEO, email marketing, organic social media, industry relationships, partner communications, and content distribution.
The position requires someone who can independently manage several marketing channels rather than focusing on only one area. The Growth Marketing Specialist will report to the Demand Generation Director and collaborate with content, technical marketing, demand generation, and other internal teams.
What You’ll Do
SEO and Answer Engine Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and map search intent across priority topic areas.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research and identify content gaps.
- Manage on-page optimization, content briefs, and internal linking across the website.
- Partner with the Technical Marketing Engineer on technical SEO projects involving code or structured data schema.
- Track SEO performance and translate findings into actionable roadmap updates.
- Maintain and improve the content SEO calendar in coordination with the Content Manager.
Email Marketing
- Manage email campaign execution, send schedules, and the email content calendar.
- Use AI-assisted drafting tools to create and refine copy efficiently while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Coordinate with the Demand Generation Manager on audience segmentation, automated workflows, and Salesforce data.
- Quality-check campaign copy, audience targeting, links, and email rendering before deployment.
- Track campaign performance and report on successful approaches and areas for improvement.
Organic Social Media
- Manage organic social media across the channels most relevant to the target audience.
- Write, schedule, and distribute social content.
- Use AI tools to generate copy variations and adapt content for different formats and channels.
- Maintain a consistent publishing schedule without unnecessary gaps.
Industry Council and Advisory Relationships
- Manage relationships with participating industry councils, associations, and advisory groups.
- Coordinate communications, submissions, and deliverables connected to these memberships.
- Ensure the organization is represented accurately and consistently across external industry channels.
Channel Partner Communications
- Manage the calendar and execution of partner-facing email communications.
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to keep partner messaging accurate and current.
Content Distribution
- Ensure content reaches the appropriate audiences through the most relevant distribution channels.
- Repurpose and adapt existing content for email, social media, partner communications, and other applicable channels.
Qualifications
- A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Two to four years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or channel marketing.
- Hands-on experience personally executing marketing work rather than primarily delegating it.
- A demonstrated ability to manage multiple marketing channels without the support of a large team.
- Working knowledge of search intent, on-page optimization, content briefs, and internal linking.
- Familiarity with at least one SEO platform, such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or an equivalent tool.
- Hands-on experience with an email marketing platform such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, or a similar system.
- Experience using a content management system such as WordPress, Webflow, Contentful, or a comparable platform.
- Experience using a social media scheduling tool.
- Regular, practical experience using AI tools for drafting, research, content repurposing, and copy variations without requiring setup assistance.
- Ability to recognize weak or inaccurate AI-generated content and improve it before publication.
- A demonstrated system for organizing competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to review and prepare content for publication, including AI-assisted drafts.
- A combination of formal or informal professional and educational experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B technology or another market serving technical or highly discerning buyers.
- Experience managing relationships with councils, associations, or advisory groups.
- Experience independently growing a newsletter, website, social media account, or another content property with measurable traffic or engagement results.
