About the Role
This opportunity is for a Business Operations Associate who will help improve internal execution, support strategic decision-making, and increase leadership capacity across high-priority business needs. This role is well suited for a versatile, proactive professional who can quickly step into complex projects, organize priorities, track details, and support senior leaders with clear communication and strong follow-through.
Status: Full-time
Compensation
Annual Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Compensation Details: Total compensation includes base salary plus a token grant.
What You’ll Do
- Work with the Chief of Staff and President on essential issues facing the organization.
- Manage ongoing periodic tasks that require judgment, detail tracking, and follow-through.
- Assess grant applicants and follow up on past grants to evaluate effectiveness.
- Keep project documentation accurate, current, and organized.
- Perform quality control checks on websites and other public-facing materials.
- Take the first run at high-priority challenges for the Chief of Staff, President, and other senior leaders.
- Quickly learn new processes and figure out how to complete unfamiliar, one-off projects as they arise.
- Project-manage and contribute to cross-team initiatives.
- Monitor the status of key company projects and help move those projects forward.
- Prepare materials for leadership meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong ability to track what is being done, understand why it matters, prioritize effectively, and independently identify gaps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or equivalent relevant education or experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- High versatility with the ability to step into many different types of work and perform them well.
- Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Workspace and Slack.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas in writing.
- Ability to synthesize insights from data and numbers.
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting quantitative analysis, including modeling.
- Experience working at or on a crypto-oriented company or project.
