Night Cleaner needed

Location: Portland, OR

Status: Full time

Compensation: $17.15 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 pm to 2:00 pm

Overview

Provide nightly cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas to meet safety, quality, and client standards.

Primary responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Report needed repairs to the manager
• Keep effective communication with clients and team members
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, and equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, and equipment to clean areas
• Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and remove trash
• Do seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, or removing snow
• Wipe tables and chairs in food areas
• Service, clean, and stock restrooms

Basic qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• No experience required, on the job training provided
• No diploma, GED, or degree required

Preferred qualifications

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience

Work environment

Exposure to temperature changes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. No travel required.
