Warehouse Associate

Location: Sacramento, CA

Status: Full-time or part-time, future openings.

Pay: $26.87 per hour for California-based roles. Eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

Position summary

This is a proactive posting to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for future warehouse openings.
The role supports material handling operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and repackaging,
with a strong focus on safety, organization, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Repackage materials to meet service parts distribution requirements.
• Operate powered material handling equipment such as forklifts and stock chasers.
• Identify inventory discrepancies related to quantity or quality.
• Provide input on safety, quality, and throughput improvements.
• Follow standard work and proper equipment use.
• Support general material handling requests from leadership and team members.
• Participate in team-based continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation.
• Stand-up forklift experience preferred, with the ability to operate for extended periods.
• Comfort working on order pickers at elevated heights.
• Familiarity with LEAN practices such as 5S and process improvement.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience using RF handheld scanners.
• Ability to follow PPE guidelines and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand 8 to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, and temperature variation.
• Flexibility to adjust start and end times based on business needs.
