Package Handler

Location: Memphis, TN 38134

Pay: $16.00 per hour, with temporary peak pay of $18.00

Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 4:00 a.m. to end of sort; part-time, seasonal

Overview

If you want an active warehouse job, this weekend package handler role keeps you moving. You will load, unload, and sort packages to help keep the operation running smoothly during the busy season.

What you will do

• Load trucks and trailers for deliveries
• Unload incoming trailers and place packages in the correct areas
• Sort packages by destination and move them using conveyors or rolling equipment
• Follow all safety rules and use safe lifting and handling practices
• Work as part of a team so the shift finishes on time

What you bring

• Reliable attendance for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
• Ability to stay on your feet and stay active for the full shift
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull 25 to 35 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and at times push or pull up to 150 pounds using pallet jacks or large containers
• Comfort working in a warehouse where temperatures change with the seasons
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to help wherever needed

• Some seasonal package handlers may be considered for longer term roles after peak season
