Warehouse Associate

Pay: $19.35 per hour, up to $21.01 per hour after 12 months

Schedule: 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with willingness to work until 3:00 AM

Position summary

Pull product efficiently and accurately to complete customer orders. You will pick items, move them to the checking station,
and help keep the work area safe and organized.

What you will do

• Pick items by product number and quantity and transport product to the checking station
• Clear conveyors, stack cartons, wrap pallets, and load pallets
• Meet picking quotas while maintaining accuracy and steady pace
• Use voice picking and RF scanning equipment
• Use basic computer navigation as part of daily work
• Follow facility housekeeping standards and area policies
• Follow all safety rules, including safe handling of hazardous materials

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Functionally literate and able to recognize product numbers and line codes quickly and accurately
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and write legibly
• Ability to communicate effectively with a voice picking system and adapt speech so the system can understand input
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and working with tens and hundreds

Work environment

• Loud warehouse environment
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts

Physical requirements

• Regular standing and walking, frequent reaching and handling
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, occasional climbing or balancing
• Frequent lifting up to 60 lb
• Ability to move heavy product over 1,000 lb using appropriate moving aids
• Occasional forklift operation, certification required
