Status: Full time

Location: Atlanta, GA

Hourly pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Role snapshot

Savannah Distributing Company seeks dependable full time warehouse associates for a fast paced Atlanta operation. You will pick items and orders, stage and replenish product, load and unload trucks, work in dock areas, perform quality and inventory checks, and keep the work area clean.

What you will do

• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas with accuracy
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Conduct inventory counts and restock product in the correct location
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage others to do the same
• Operate a forklift or other machinery as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and dependable
• Basic math skills and strong time management
• Ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team
• Clear communication skills and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background and drug testing
• Forklift experience is a plus

Physical demands and working conditions

• Team oriented, professional, fast paced environment
• Regular exposure to temperature extremes and moving machinery
• Reach, bend, and stoop frequently
• Lift frequently 15 to 80 pounds; overtime as needed
