Hourly pay: $20.59 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 6:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., Monday – Friday plus weekends
Role snapshot
The lead cleaner oversees the daily cleaning tasks of the janitorial team while keeping assigned areas, such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial spaces, or institutional buildings, clean and orderly. Works successfully with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization. Understands and follows verbal and written instructions and can explain how to complete a task using basic communication skills.

Ideal candidate experience
- 2+ years of commercial janitorial experience
- Understands that safety is a top priority and complies with all safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Team player, committed to working in a fast paced, quality environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Key accountabilities
- Direct special cleaning projects
- Support and train new cleaners
- Stock and inventory supply closets
- Vacuuming, edging, dusting
- Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms
- Interior window cleaning
- Empty trash and transport to proper disposal areas
- Sweep and mop floors
- Assist the cleaning manager with day to day operations
- Other duties as assigned

- Stand about 33 percent, walk more than 66 percent, sit less than 10 percent
- Use hands and fingers to touch, handle, grip, and feel frequently
- Occasional reaching above shoulders
- Push/pull and grasp with hands and arms 33 to 50 percent
- Occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Perform repetitive tasks; stand for extended periods
- Frequently lift 0-10 lb; frequently up to 25 lb; occasionally up to 50 lb
- Work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
