Warehouse Staff

Status: Full time

Location:San Jose, CA

Hourly pay: $24.25 per hour

Overview

Support a busy event venue by receiving, storing, and staging food and beverage inventory. Keep the warehouse clean and organized while following all safety procedures.

Key duties

• Receive and inspect deliveries, label items, and reconcile paperwork
• Put away product by location and apply FIFO for perishables
• Pick inventory to fill requisitions and par levels
• Load, unload, and transport product within the facility or to on site locations
• Complete routine counts and maintain temperature, spoilage, and equipment logs
• Follow SOPs, OSHA and SDS requirements, and use required PPE
• Keep docks, aisles, break areas, and storage spaces clean

Requirements

• 18 years or older with basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
• 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Manual dexterity and ability to operate pallet jacks or forklifts with training
• Strong communication and teamwork

Physical demands

• Lift up to 50 lb and frequently carry up to 35 lb
• Regular bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for most of the shift
