Warehouse Worker

Location: Kansas City area

Pay: $24.20 per hour

Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m

Role snapshot

Work as a warehouse associate and stand up forklift driver in a high volume food production facility. You will handle pallets of ingredients and finished goods, support production, and keep inventory and shipments accurate and on time.

Main duties

• Quickly identify pallet locations and pull product from storage accurately.
• Stage product for shipping and transfers using the company ERP system.
• Put away product in assigned storage locations and confirm correct slotting.
• Fill ingredient orders for production lines and support daily production needs.
• Complete product bin transfer logs and turn them in for data entry.
• Perform cycle counts and help keep inventory records accurate.
• Load outbound trailers and assist with other shipping and receiving tasks.
• Operate a stand up forklift safely and complete daily pre and post shift checks.
• Help with general housekeeping and keep warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Work with other shifts and warehouse areas to share information and resolve issues.

Skills and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Stand up forklift experience is desired.
• Good verbal and written communication, including clear handwriting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast paced setting.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort working with frequent changes and shifting priorities.
• Self motivated, goal oriented, and focused on quality work.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Work environment

This role is in a busy food production warehouse that runs overnight. Work involves forklifts, pallets, ingredients, and finished product, with strict safety and food handling standards.
