Cleaner (Nights)

Location: Portland, OR

Hourly pay: $18.00 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 pm to 2:00 am

Keep assigned areas clean, safe, and presentable. Follow safety procedures, use cleaning chemicals and powered equipment correctly, and support coworkers and site staff.

Essential duties

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and powered equipment
• Report needed repairs to building systems
• Maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
• Dust furniture and fixtures and clean floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas
• Clean interior glass and mirrors using appropriate tools
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and remove trash
• Sweep walks and handle seasonal tasks such as leaf removal or snow removal
• Wipe and clean tables, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and stock restrooms

Basic qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• No experience required, on the job training provided
• No diploma or degree required
