Night Cleaner Los Angeles

Status: As needed (on-call)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Overview

We’re hiring a dependable night-shift cleaner to keep client facilities safe, spotless, and guest-ready. You’ll handle routine cleaning, light upkeep, and restocking while following safety and quality standards.

Your day-to-day

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break areas, lobbies, hallways, and offices.
• Empty trash and recycling; replace liners and stage waste for pickup.
• Dust, wipe, and spot-clean high-touch surfaces (doors, rails, switches, glass).
• Vacuum carpets; sweep and mop hard floors; perform periodic floor care as assigned.
• Restock paper goods, soap, and supplies; keep closets and carts organized.
• Report maintenance issues (leaks, burned-out lights, broken hardware) promptly.
• Follow all safety, PPE, chemical handling, and site security procedures.

What you’ll need

• Prior custodial/cleaning experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40–50 lbs, stand/walk for most of the shift, and use ladders safely.
• Basic English to read labels/SDS and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented; comfortable working independently.

Hours

Overnight schedule; exact start/end times set by the site. Weekend coverage may be requested based on needs.

Physical demands

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling carts, and repetitive motion; use of approved cleaning agents and PPE.
