Cleaner/Custodian

Position summary

This role supports store cleanliness, safety, and upkeep across the sales floor, seating areas, restrooms, back offices, and other shared spaces. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting daily store operations and responding to maintenance needs as they arise.

What you’ll do

• Perform duties on daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Clean floors, seating areas, restrooms, back offices, and other store areas.
• Support teams with cleaning projects.
• Handle minor repairs and improvements.
• Help order supplies needed for store maintenance.
• Respond to cleaning emergencies.
• Help maintain landscaping and parking lot areas.
• Perform continual cleaning throughout all store departments.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk 6 – 8 hours in an 8-hour day.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to work with approved cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in wet, cold, and temperature-variable environments.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
