Location: East Flatbush / Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Full-Time Nights – 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. (variable days)
Hourly Pay: $18 – $22 (SG-05 base + location + night differential)
About the Role
As a Night Cleaner, you’ll keep hospital, lab, office and public areas spotless and safe while most of the campus sleeps. You’ll work independently or with a small crew to ensure every surface meets our strict hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities

Collect trash and recycling; safely dispose of hazardous spills

Mix cleaning solutions, stock carts and monitor supply levels

Mop, sweep, vacuum, strip/wax floors and shampoo carpets

Wash windows, walls, partitions, stairwells and fixtures

Sanitize restrooms, showers and high-touch surfaces

Replace light bulbs; dust or wash ceilings and light fixtures

Move furniture for events or deep-cleaning projects

Follow special disinfection and waste-disposal protocols as needed
Minimum Requirements

No formal education or prior experience required (Labor Class)

Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and perform repetitive tasks

Ability to read, understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
