Warehouse Staff

Work location: Chicago area

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay: $19.50/hour

Position summary

This role supports daily warehouse shipping and receiving work. You will build and pack orders, load and unload trucks, process UPS and LTL shipments, and keep inventory accurate using scanners and counts.

What you’ll do

• Assemble and fill orders for shipment.
• Load and unload company vehicles and common carriers.
• Process shipments via UPS and LTL, verify merchandise, apply labels and tape, complete bills of lading, and follow shipping instructions.
• Use scanners for warehouse management, picking, and material put-away.
• Count inventory and verify quantities and items against invoices.
• Pack orders into containers and arrange containers based on truck routes.
• Cover for other warehouse team members as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

• General knowledge of electrical products is preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain strong attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Clear communication with coworkers.
• Basic math skills.
