Warehouse Staff

Location: Kansas City area

Pay: $17.90 to $21.90 per hour, paid weekly

Job type: Seasonal package handler, part time and full time, on site

Position summary

Work as a seasonal package handler in a high volume warehouse environment. You will load, unload, and sort packages
of different sizes while keeping safety, accuracy, and productivity as your main priorities.

Your day to day

• Handle physical warehouse work including loading, unloading, and sorting packages
• Move packages on and off trailers and within the facility using approved methods
• Follow instructions and standard operating procedures for package handling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work one shift per day as a part time employee or two shifts per day as a full time employee

Schedule details

• Immediate seasonal openings on early morning shifts, with approximate start times between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
• Part time shifts are generally 3 to 6 hours per day, based on package volume
• Full time shifts are generally 6 to 10 hours per day, based on package volume
• Overtime is paid after 40 hours in a week

Skills and requirements

• Able to do fast paced, physical warehouse work
• Comfortable lifting, carrying, and moving packages throughout the shift
• Willing to work an early morning schedule and stay until the sort is complete
• Safety focused and able to follow written and verbal directions
• Reliable, with consistent attendance and strong work ethic
