Role overview

Join a professional culinary team providing daily lunch service for office clients. In this role you help keep the kitchen running smoothly by
maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization while supporting basic food prep.

Key responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment to required sanitation standards.
  • Receive and store food and supply deliveries in walk in and dry storage areas.
  • Keep walk in coolers, dry storage, and dish areas clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Handle end of service cleaning and closing duties, including trash and cardboard removal.
  • Assist with light food preparation as directed by the culinary team.
  • Communicate with the chef and manager about any issues that affect kitchen operations or cleanliness.

What you bring

  • Experience in kitchen roles such as line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, or porter is preferred.
  • Background in catering or event food service is a plus.
  • Clear communication skills and a dependable, team focused attitude.
  • Ability to bend, twist, stand, and stay active throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely when needed.

Work environment and requirements
