About the Role
This opportunity is seeking an experienced Senior Application Programmer to support enterprise-level sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. The role focuses on analyzing business applications, designing technical specifications, and developing software solutions that support finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, and contract management functions.
This position requires strong expertise in software engineering, APIs, low-code/no-code development models, BPMN-based automation, and large-scale enterprise application programming. The ideal candidate will be comfortable designing, coding, testing, debugging, optimizing, and maintaining complex applications while supporting operational efficiency and compliance requirements.

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert-level support for sustainment lifecycle management activities across programs and project operations.
- Analyze functional business applications and technical design specifications across multiple operational domains including finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, and contracts.
- Develop block diagrams, logic flowcharts, and detailed software design documentation.
- Translate technical and functional requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Design, code, test, debug, and refine software applications and automation solutions.
- Develop and support enterprise application programming initiatives for large-scale systems and databases.
- Create and maintain program-level and user-level technical documentation.
- Improve application performance, reduce operating time, and increase system efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to development teams to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
- Develop or modify procedures to resolve complex software and operational challenges.
- Evaluate equipment limitations, operating requirements, and system capacities when designing solutions.
- Support Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) used in low-code/no-code platform environments.
- Develop process automation software based on BPMN models and workflow automation frameworks.
- Participate in agile and hybrid software development environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology-related field.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in software or application programming.
- Expert-level knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management for programs and project operations.
- Hands-on experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
- Experience supporting low-code/no-code application development platforms.
- Strong experience working with BPMN tools and workflow automation technologies.
- Experience developing application and process automation software based on BPMN models.
- Experience working in agile and hybrid low-code development environments.
- Background developing enterprise applications on large-scale DBMS platforms.
- Ability to develop complex software solutions that meet technical design objectives.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT Level I or higher.
- Accepted certifications may include A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, Network Security, SSCP, or higher-level IAT certifications.
- DLA CE Certification for IA Role/Function: MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
