About the Role
This remote Senior Accountant role is designed for a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional who can take full ownership of assigned accounting areas, operate with minimal supervision, and proactively identify and resolve issues. The position plays a critical role in monthly close, financial accuracy, accounting process improvement, audit readiness, and cross-functional financial support.
The ideal candidate is comfortable handling complex transactions, working in NetSuite or a similar ERP system, supporting system implementations, improving accounting workflows, and partnering with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Hourly Rate: $53 – $58 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of assigned accounting areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Establish clear goals, KPIs, and expectations aligned with company financial objectives.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including complex and non-routine transactions.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Execute and help drive the month-end close process in a fast-paced environment.
- Review and analyze financial statements to identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual trends.
- Ensure corrections are made when financial reporting issues are identified.
- Apply capitalization policies, including fixed asset tracking and proper expense versus capitalization treatment.
- Support or lead ERP system implementations, enhancements, and NetSuite optimization.
- Maintain and improve accounting workflows to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
- Partner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and audit-ready materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, including fixed assets and reserves.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with system implementations or ERP enhancements.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement solutions.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States as a full-time employee.
