About the Role
An experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator is needed to serve as the primary Salesforce subject-matter expert and senior technical owner of a highly customized, multi-line-of-business Salesforce environment. This role supports Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and revenue operations teams while driving platform modernization, automation improvements, reporting accuracy, and integration governance.
This position is ideal for a hands-on Salesforce professional with deep experience managing complex enterprise Salesforce environments, revenue-cycle automation, CPQ systems, integrations, security models, and platform optimization initiatives.
Status: Full Time
Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year
Bonus Eligibility: Eligible for participation in the Corporate Bonus Plan
What You’ll Do
Salesforce Platform Ownership
- Serve as the primary Salesforce subject-matter expert and senior technical owner across multiple business functions.
- Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration including validation rules, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, record types, flows, profiles, and permission sets.
- Support evolving business requirements from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams.
- Investigate and resolve complex platform issues including automation failures, permission errors, data inconsistencies, and integration problems.
- Manage user access, permission sets, profiles, and permission set groups while modernizing legacy access structures.
- Maintain and govern integrations across the revenue technology stack including HubSpot, Marketing Cloud Connect, Dialpad, Groove, Goldcast, NetSuite, and related systems.
- Evaluate and communicate architectural trade-offs between point-to-point integrations and middleware-based integration solutions.
Automation and Revenue Cycle
- Design, maintain, and modernize Salesforce automation supporting the full revenue lifecycle from Lead through Renewal.
- Diagnose order-of-execution conflicts, recursion issues, governor-limit problems, and cascading automation behavior across Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Flow, and Apex environments.
- Lead migration initiatives from legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation to Salesforce Flow.
CPQ and Advanced Approvals
- Own Salesforce CPQ (SBQQ) configuration and Advanced Approvals administration.
- Troubleshoot price calculation issues including price-rule evaluation order, contracted pricing inheritance, amendment behavior, renewal quote logic, and MDQ segment handling.
- Maintain and improve approval-process configurations while coordinating pricing and approval updates with Finance and Sales leadership.
Security, Access, and Code Standards
- Audit and consolidate profiles and permission sets to support a least-privilege access model.
- Review Apex security findings including CRUD/FLS and sharing-related issues.
- Coordinate remediation work with external developers when code changes are necessary.
- Read and evaluate Apex code to create statements of work, acceptance criteria, testing procedures, and validation plans.
- Enforce established Apex and Lightning Web Component code standards using the existing trigger-handler framework.
Platform Modernization and Optimization
- Lead platform modernization initiatives including retirement of dormant managed packages, unused fields, orphaned integrations, and inactive approval processes.
- Perform regular field-usage audits on high-volume objects to identify cleanup opportunities.
- Manage connected applications and remote site settings while identifying outdated credentials and stale integrations.
- Lead implementation of a version-controlled Salesforce deployment process to improve release management, peer review, and rollback protection.
Revenue Analytics and Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting structures focused on pipeline health, conversion performance, forecasting, and revenue attainment.
- Use Salesforce reporting tools, Excel, Microsoft Copilot, and related analytics platforms to support operational insights.
- Consolidate and improve the quality of reports and dashboards used by leadership teams.
- Translate complex datasets into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Support forecasting and revenue decision-making through accurate pipeline and reporting management.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Manage structured request intake and issue triage processes across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders and leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification required.
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification or Sharing and Visibility Architect certification strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
- Extensive experience serving as the senior technical authority for a heavily customized, multi-line-of-business Salesforce environment.
- Strong experience in SaaS or technology-focused organizations.
- Advanced Salesforce CPQ (SBQQ) configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with price rules, contracted pricing, amendment workflows, renewal quote processes, MDQ, and Advanced Approvals routing.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce order of execution, recursion-control methods, and governor-limit troubleshooting.
- Experience leading Workflow Rule and Process Builder migrations to Salesforce Flow at scale.
- Working knowledge of Apex sufficient to review code, scope remediation work, and validate test outcomes.
- Strong understanding of CRUD/FLS security, sharing models, profile modernization, permission-set governance, and integration-user security practices.
- Experience managing complex revenue-stack integrations and evaluating architectural trade-offs.
- Experience coordinating and managing external Salesforce developer engagements.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot and Salesforce integrations including lead lifecycle and attribution workflows.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using AI-powered analytics tools such as Microsoft Copilot is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical leadership teams.
