About the Role

This opportunity is for a Senior Growth Engineer to build and scale high-impact product growth systems focused on onboarding, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion. The role is centered on shipping production-ready software that directly impacts customer acquisition, product adoption, and revenue growth.

This position works across frontend systems, backend infrastructure, experimentation frameworks, landing pages, internal tooling, developer experiences, and in-product conversion surfaces. The role requires an engineer who can independently scope projects, build across the stack, deploy quickly, measure performance, and continuously iterate based on data and experimentation results.

The position collaborates closely with product growth leadership, data engineers, and core engineering teams to deliver measurable improvements in activation, conversion, and customer expansion.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $120,000 - $220,000 per year

What You'll Do

• Own growth initiatives end-to-end, including project scoping, frontend development, backend development, deployment, and post-launch iteration
• Build onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion experiences that convert users into active paying customers
• Create and improve usage dashboards, upgrade prompts, feature discovery systems, contextual guidance states, and customer activation flows
• Improve developer playground experiences to accelerate product adoption and conversion
• Build high-converting landing pages for integrations, competitor comparisons, campaign initiatives, and developer use cases
• Develop the frontend components, backend APIs, copy scaffolding, and supporting data layers for conversion-focused experiences
• Create internal operational tools, including customer dashboards, outreach interfaces, triage systems, and workflow management platforms
• Automate repeatable manual workflows into scalable software systems
• Instrument product experiences and measure performance using analytics and experimentation frameworks
• Run A/B tests and evaluate conversion performance before launching additional initiatives
• Improve developer experience across SDK workflows, starter templates, sample code, documentation flows, and first-run experiences
• Collaborate directly with growth engineers, data engineers, and core engineering teams on cross-functional initiatives
• Ship projects rapidly and prioritize experimentation velocity over long planning cycles

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience
• Strong full-stack engineering background with experience shipping production applications end-to-end
• Advanced experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, Python, and SQL
• Experience building both frontend systems and backend APIs
• Strong product thinking and the ability to identify broken user flows without relying entirely on analytics
• Experience working on activation funnels, conversion systems, onboarding flows, retention experiences, or product growth initiatives
• Strong understanding of experimentation, funnel optimization, activation metrics, and conversion performance
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar systems as part of daily workflows
• Ability to move quickly, ship iterative solutions, and prioritize practical execution over unnecessary abstraction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to clearly explain technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience documenting engineering decisions, workflows, and implementations when appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building growth systems or in-product conversion experiences for SaaS or developer-focused products
• Experience building onboarding systems, upgrade flows, activation tooling, or in-product guidance experiences
• Experience creating landing pages that measurably improved signup or activation metrics
• Experience building internal tools actively used by operational or growth teams
• Hands-on experience running and analyzing A/B tests
• Experience with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, Vercel, PostgreSQL, and Anthropic Claude API
• Experience building production systems powered by large language models
• Experience with prompt engineering, tool usage workflows, or inference pipelines
• Experience working on developer-facing products such as SDKs, APIs, documentation systems, or playground environments
• Experience operating within fast-scaling high-growth environments
